Damon Rochefort: Rock’n’roll December
“I Wanna Give You Devotion” by Nomad, a massive hit back in the early 90’s. Now an award winning script writer for Coronation Street, it has been an absolute pleasure to have this English gent join my collection for my diamond dust lyrical journey “Rock’n’roll December”. His creative talents are brim full with what he has achieved so far in this artistic journey that is ‘life’. Being a writer, there are ways of saying things, and ways of looking at the world. It doesn’t take long to be in his company to find yourself laughing out loud at the talented way he constructs and expresses every single thing.
The diamond dusted signed print: The diamond dust represents the glitz and the glamour of rock’n’roll, and the image shows the true grit and the grind of every persons life story. The never failing drive to create and more importantly, to do what they do with passion and class. Thank you darling, it is a pleasure to know you. Damon Rochefort, in his own words…
My name’s Damon Rochefort. I’m from a small village in South Wales called Dinas Powis.
I’ve done many things for a living including being a pop star, journalist, song writer, producer, TV presenter, restaurant owner, currently script-writer for Coronation Street among other shows.
What inspires me is people to be honest, observing people, listening to them, meeting new and different kinds of people never ceases to surprise and delight me.
Best advice I can give anyone? ‘Treat people the way you want to be treated yourself.’
My image represents my tune ‘I Wanna Give You Devotion’ which was a huge international smash in 1991. If I could take anything to a desert island it would be my friends. we’d have a SCREAM. I cook and eat everything – I’m pretty good, actually, but a seared tuna salad nicoise always goes down well.

Welcome to my project, my world of creation
Art that contributes a difference to the nations
I strive to achieve, reward the soul
To bring meaning, substance, love, let it flow
Life is a gift, a trusty steed, let us end the suffering, listen to it’s need
Our journeys are tangled with success and failure
Time does not alter the on going pacer
Let’s light up this world with an army for change
Make a difference and shine so no darkness remains
A visual story, each one has it’s own
A lyrical wonder of musings here shown.
Pen on to paper it’s all black and white
The click of the camera together, unite
So join with me now and embrace what I ask
Rock’N’Roll December alive, unmasked…
