Tim Muddiman: Rock’n’roll December
There are days that pass you by, and there are days that stay with you for one reason or another. The life of an artist never fails to be an interesting one. The drive, the passion to achieve, the challenge that is never too tough to tackle because your whole life depends on it. If a challenge is to high, then what is the point, right? Surrounded by antique musical instruments picked up along the way, the things that inspire and ignite the sparks for each journey, or lyric, or story. The things that link us to our past and the bridges that rise to push us forward into our future. This talented guy has been the guitarist for Gary Numan for the last 15 years, and now fronts his own band with his debut album releasing in March 2016. I am so honoured that he has joined my collection of diamond dusted images. The Diamond Dust representing the glitz and the glam rock of the music industry, and the image behind it showing the raw grit of the grain of what it truly takes to be an artist. The exhibition is a lyrical journey, so each image is named after a lyric written by the artist. This one is “Hands and Claws”. Who is he? He’s Tim Muddiman.
